Day 3 – Bring On The Weekend

As we close in on the weekend the big question is wether or not I will have some alcoholic beverages. I made it all of Day 3 (Friday) without it. Day 4 (Saturday) will be tough as I have a family memebers Wedding Reception.

Wish me luck

I know your trying to avoid soda and alcohol 100%, but sometimes events come up. You don’t want to feel deprived either. According to the new weight watchers one beer is equal to = 4 points… If it’s worth it to you to have one or two beers why not? If you feel once you have a couple you will not be able to stop there yeah then don’t have any. To me there is nothing wrong with having a beer at a family function. Your accounting for it so it will not effect your weight loss.. You may want to use the points you would have used on a beer for more food? The whole point of a diet is learning to make the right choices. So the question will be do you want a couple of beers or hold off and maybe have something extra to eat… fun fun…

Ask yourself one question.. If your really going to make this a life change are you willing never to drink again?? Of course not.. So i say work it into the diet now so that this becomes a way of life and not a constant stress factor when things like this come up…
