Day 1 – Start of A New Beginning

Welcome to the 1st of the 155 Day Weight Loss Challenge post… The official weigh-in was on June 21st, 2011 at 12pm. My starting weight for this competition is 290.2lbs.. YIKES!!! Where this competition goes for 155 days I am hoping to drop down to about 220-230lbs.

#DAY1 – 6/22/2011

Breakfast:
— Hospitality Corn Flakes, 130 Calories, *WW 3PPV

Lunch:
— Smart Ones – Sweet & Sour Chicken Bistro, 200 Calories, *WW 5PPV
— 16.9oz Water

Dinner:
— Pork Chops, White Rice, Carrotts & Spinash

Snacks:
— Clif Bar – Crunchy Peanut Butter (1oz bar), 100 Calories, *WW 3PPV
— 16.9oz Water
— 16.9oz Water w/ Crystal Light Raspberry Ice
— Banana
— Skinny Cow Ice Cream – Chocolate Fudge Brownie, 150 Calories, *WW 4PPV

Gym:
— Tredmill – 45 minutes – 2.5 miles – 351 calories burnt

    This sounds like a perfect day, but are you taking in enough calories? According to weight watchers you are allowed 43 points a day to “safely” lose about 2+ pounds a week at your current weight. I figured out you had approx 27 points for the day. Then you burnt approx 3 points on the treadmill… Bringing you down to 24 points for the day… 19 under were you should be at days end… Sure you may lose more at the start, but how much of that will be muscle mass?? Do you feel hungry and run down today??

    I’d keep everything your doing the same except for take in more points… You’ll find you will actually lose more weight. The body will retain weight if it feels it’s not getting enough……
